RE-Lighting

Cultivating humor re-lights me with a light touch for all things.   Such humor liberates me from being so dense. Re-lighting uplifts me from my funny life lessons where I may see and accept my shortcomings.  I become braver to see the blessing in any of my curses.  Transmuting the negative with the positive I awakened to new possibilities.

Re-lighting celebrates my virtues and liberates self-punishment when I silence my inner self talk. Re-lighting creates a more tranquil flow with life's adversities. This is a profound exercise of respectfully observing the sacred interconnection of all things.  Then my heart awakens to a fearlessness beyond my deepest phobias.  Re-lighting brings an expansive quality with a profound heartfelt shift. 

“Hereness" reminds me to ignore external outcomes so as to further cultivate my genuine being.   As I lightened my internal baggage I truly freed myself to celebrate my higher self.  By letting go of any personal agenda I minimize distractions caused by my lower self.  Cultivating this inner brilliance happens when I fully let go.   I re-light radiating simple loving presence without any possessiveness. This delightful state of re-lighting skillfully balances my sorrow with joy.  

Paying attention to the heartfelt intention of being of service magically allows me to be free.  Unskillful habits become dissolved and insightful visions arise.  The magic of evolving oneself in virtues and dissolving vices brings forth our divine universal connection.  We and the world are one and the same.  Any separation furthers our suffering.  To be present with life’s paradoxes and struggles is like seeing the brilliance in a dull gray sky.  May I remember to re-light so I can see the heavenly lights behind those silver clouds.

Despair in Repair

Recently I learned that I have prostrate cancer. For many years my dermatologist has been removing this from my skin. In my recovery may I honor each day as my last. My priceless experiences comes from this celebrating what I been given. How better may I address my mortality then to Face Everything and Recover. When I Frick Everything and Run this other FEAR fosters little repair of my despair. It is challenging to deal with what is happening. Climate change profoundly terrorizes me. First addressing my inner conflicts best allows me to accept outer events. My way out of disaster is to triumph by accepting within. When I become more tolerant this attitude of gratitude renews me.  Such a resilient mindset liberates me. Acceptances frees me to whatever circumstances arise.   Fearless insights liberates me from my selfish emotions.  When my deeds and values align I find harmony. Toxic Plastic Waste

The plastics industry for years promoted that plastic was fantastic. Yes, it's a fantastic environmental crime. Contamination in the U.S. is high since many unrecyclable forms of plastic are mismanaged. Seven percent is recovered while 3/4 is lost or buried. The lack of smarter packaging has resulted in today's horrific plastic pollution. For more than 45 years, I have championed marketing secondary materials. I have helped recycle a wide variety of reused products, from tennis balls to motor oil. I have worn many hats to promote secondary end markets. Without finding new economic opportunities for recyclables, it will be discarded. People's plastic waste exemplifies the cost of our foolishness. Tragically, we're seeing this in all aspects of our lives. For example, in the healthcare industry, a third to half is mismanaged.
