Eco Tennis

Recently the sports industries are embracing environmental alternatives because of increasing climate change.  Working both in the environmental and tennis world, I've been an advocate for eco tennis. Below is something I wrote years ago for the United States Professional Tennis Association. Happy returns both on and off the courts!!! Tennis and revolutions have a long history. Taken on a tennis court near the Palace of Versailles during the French Revolution, the "Tennis Court Oath" (serment du jeu de paume) was a solemn collective vow by French deputies to continue to meet despite a royal prohibition to do so until a constitution had been written. Today, an even more violent revolution is happening-seemingly irreversible, and dramatic climate change impacts due to the human footprint upon this planet. Liberate

Presently, I have been reflecting on what imprisons me? There's a great antidote of Houdini going around breaking out of jails except for one.  The door was unlocked. How can I best cultivate a free way of being? Cultivating a higher self-love.  I call it no self-help. It happens when I embody grace and serve to benefit. This wise response of moment to moment awareness rather than reacting liberates me. Listening to my body, I find my inner truth.  What has heart and meaning comes from me exploring discerning my fears and shadows. Embracing them, I find that home is right where my heart is.  All things are sacred if only I can remember to arrive back here and now. It is time for me to let go of old ancestral messages that I am not enough.  For me to fully be, I must walk new mental paths to promote grace.  Remember to move in peace, love, and courage.  To fully be myself, I must expand my frequency of possibility, purp...
