Today, we have tremendous extremes shown both in our weather and wealth.   2024 is the hottest year on record as warming temporarily hits 1.5°C. In the last decade the costs of climate change due to damages from extreme weather events like hurricanes, floods, and wildfires, impacting economies globally, is over $2 trillion. This does not account for the cost of human life, healthcare, and ecosystem disruption. Just in the US, the cost of climate-related disasters can reach over $150 billion per year. According to recent data, the world economy is currently around 100 trillion dollars. Baby Boomers have around $84 trillion in wealth, but their children may not see all that money passed down, the survey says. The average inheritance is expected to be around $320,000, but most Millennials and Gen Z may see less than that due to concerns about rising prices. Celebrate Starshine

The shortest day is upon us. This is an opportunity to celebrate the most startime.  I embrace this starlight to light my inner candle. Dance under the Milky Way, allowing the trillions of lights filtering into the trillions of cells within you.   We are all children of the stars! It is a quantum pool of loving kindness. 93% of the mass in our body is stardust originating from giant red stars by the Big Bang 5 billion years ago. We share 97% of the same atoms. All the basic elements of life, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, calcium, and iron, were created before the earth.
