Planting Seeds of Hope


Just when I almost freak out I remember to trust the mystery.  Nobody knows how our future will unfold.  Yes climate change is profoundly accelerating.  Global warming threatens billions of people and costing countless trillions of dollars. While water, food, housing, health and human rights are all in peril resilience is essential. Each of us can cultivate awe with finding new possibility. Embracing the mystery helps me to be present. May I quiet my mind and listen to my heart!

In today’s climate of despair I plant new seeds of hope. This helps me to best foresee and let go to. All I can do is to lessen my impact. Sustainable economic measures and formulating a global insurance plan are essential. Adopting ingenious mitigation measures will reduce these catastrophic costs and devastation. 

Better design and management requires massive political will. Simply doing more with less will happen to increase our very quality of life. Compassion and insight is the age old remedy.

It is easy to rationalize this crisis is too big to address.  However, our very future is in the balance. Let's respond rather then ignore our very survival. Show your appreciation and lead by example.

Stimulating new prosperity coincides with increasing our entire planet’s well being.  However this requires monumental changes. Our livelihood here is dependent that we lessen and responsibly go forth.

It is up two different types of weather or whether.  Whether we each become more carbon neutral.  And, how our future weather impacts this fragile planet.  As this mystery unfolds hopefully each of us may act to show our love for our Earth. Possibility resides in our collective heart gratefully planting seeds for the future.

Despair in Repair

Recently I learned that I have prostrate cancer. For many years my dermatologist has been removing this from my skin. In my recovery may I honor each day as my last. My priceless experiences comes from this celebrating what I been given. How better may I address my mortality then to Face Everything and Recover. When I Frick Everything and Run this other FEAR fosters little repair of my despair. It is challenging to deal with what is happening. Climate change profoundly terrorizes me. First addressing my inner conflicts best allows me to accept outer events. My way out of disaster is to triumph by accepting within. When I become more tolerant this attitude of gratitude renews me.  Such a resilient mindset liberates me. Acceptances frees me to whatever circumstances arise.   Fearless insights liberates me from my selfish emotions.  When my deeds and values align I find harmony. Toxic Plastic Waste

The plastics industry for years promoted that plastic was fantastic. Yes, it's a fantastic environmental crime. Contamination in the U.S. is high since many unrecyclable forms of plastic are mismanaged. Seven percent is recovered while 3/4 is lost or buried. The lack of smarter packaging has resulted in today's horrific plastic pollution. For more than 45 years, I have championed marketing secondary materials. I have helped recycle a wide variety of reused products, from tennis balls to motor oil. I have worn many hats to promote secondary end markets. Without finding new economic opportunities for recyclables, it will be discarded. People's plastic waste exemplifies the cost of our foolishness. Tragically, we're seeing this in all aspects of our lives. For example, in the healthcare industry, a third to half is mismanaged.
